Billing questions

Can I subscribe today?: Yes. Choose a plan, create or sign in to your account, and you complete checkout from Settings → Billing. The plans, prices and trial terms on this page are the real terms that apply to a Discovery Companion subscription.
How does the free trial work?: An eligible first-time account gets a free trial of 14 days on either plan. A payment method is required to start it and nothing is charged during the trial. When the 14 days end, the plan price is charged automatically unless you cancel before then.
Do I get another trial if I subscribe again, or switch plan?: No. The trial is offered once per Discovery Companion account, not once per plan. Switching between Monthly and Annual does not start another trial, and a subscription started after your trial has been used begins — and is charged — immediately. Settings → Billing shows your exact terms before you pay.
How do I cancel?: From Settings → Billing, which opens your payment provider's secure portal. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access until the end date shown there. Cancelling during a trial before its first charge avoids that charge.
Is this per person?: Yes. A paid plan covers one consultant. Because the workspace is stored locally, each person works in their own workspace on their own device.
Can I use it on more than one device?: You can sign in on any device. Your workspace does not follow you automatically — move it with Workspace Backup and Restore.
What happens to my data if I cancel?: Your local workspace remains on your device and can be exported. Cancelling ends access to the product, not your files.
